TSN RADIO HITS THE AIR IN OTTAWA AND EDMONTON

NOW MAKING TSN RADIO AVAILABLE IN FIVE CANADIAN MARKETS

The Evolution of Sports Radio. TSN 1200 in Ottawa and TSN 1260 in Edmonton made their debut just before the launch of the 2013-14 NHL season on Monday. The two former 'TEAM' sports stations join existing TSN Radio branded local radio stations in Toronto (AM 1050), Montreal (AM 690) and Winnipeg (AM 1290). Access TSN article.

CALGARY'S CLASSIC COUNTRY FLIPS TO STANDUP COMEDY 24/7

Calgary Commuters can now laugh to and from work by tuning to the hilarious new radio format that promises 24/7 standup comedy, including Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, George Carlin, Chris Rock, Louis C.K., Sarah Silverman, and Dennis Miller. 'RADIO ENGAGEMENT IN CANADA STUDY'

> RADIO CONTINUES TO BE A DAILY TOUCHSTONE

Commissioned by the Canadian Association of Radio Broadcasters, Vision Critical conducted a study in late 2012, to provide 'fresh and forward-looking insights into the role and relevance of radio to listeners and to advertisers in today's fast-changing media landscape'.

Jeff Vidler, Senior Vice President of Media and Entertainment Research at Vision Critical, who presented at the February 26th BRC (Broadcast Research Council of Canada) Event 'New Radio Research: Synergies Between On-line and Broadcast Radio', provides insight from the Study for the 'Broadcast Dialogue' feature: 'Broadcast Radio - at a dead end, or just another fork in the road?'
